Vanda’s Day Spa

Roxy stared at the empty safe. “ That woman robbed the safe! ” She flew back outside. Detective Smith’s coat lay on the sidewalk. A baby crawled out from under it. “ Ba-ba- ba! ” Roxy gasped. “ Detective Smith—you’re a baby! ”

Crash! Roxy spun around as a car rolled into a parked van. A baby stood behind the wheel, giggling. A man walked out of a store. “ Where did all these babies come from?” A bus zipped by. It almost hit someone. A woman inside the bus yelled out of a window. “ Help! The driver is a baby! She can’t drive! ”

Zoom! Roxy shot after the bus. She flew inside and picked up the baby driver. Then she hit the brakes. Roxy and the woman gathered all the babies. They sat them on the sidewalk. “ Whew! ” Roxy said. “ I need to tell Mayor Bloom what’s happening, ” Roxy thought.

She opened her watch. A baby was sitting in Mayor Bloom’s chair. “ Oh no! ” Roxy cried. “ Mayor Bloom is a baby too! ” Roxy saw another baby nearby. He was chewing on a wallet. The baby dropped the wallet and crawled away.

Roxy picked up the wallet. Inside was a business card: “ Vanda’s Day Spa. Our new treatment will take years off your life! ” “ That’s the spa that Detective Smith went to! ” Roxy said. A moment later Roxy arrived at Vanda’s Day Spa. Two women walked out smiling.
