“ It’s the most amazing car ever! ” He walked toward the car. Everyone leaned closer to see. The man grabbed the sheet. “ Behold . . . ” The man yanked off the sheet. “ The Ultra Car! ” Everybody gasped.

The car had wings, rockets, and lots of fancy gadgets. Suddenly the car’s engine roared. Tires screeched, and everyone jumped out of the way. Vroom! The Ultra Car smashed through the glass doors and drove away.

Roxy and her friends were at a city bus stop. They’d been at the library. Now they were going home. Jack looked at a poster. “ I wish we could go to the Metro City Car Show. ” “ We have to go home, ” said Roxy. Jack rolled his eyes. “ I didn’t mean right now. I meant soon. It would be cool. ”
