Buried by an Earthquake

Roxy was buried under a huge pile of rocks. “ It’s a good thing I’m Rocket Girl, ” thought Roxy. “ I didn’t get hurt at all. But how will I stop the mole men from destroying Metro City?” She thought for a moment. “ I have an idea! ” Again Roxy spun fast.

She drilled into the ground below the cave. Roxy listened carefully. She heard the mole men above her. “ Where did the human go?” one asked. “ I trapped her under that pile of rocks! ” said the mole man near the machine. Roxy looked up, using her x-ray vision.

The mole men started searching through the pile of rocks. She could also see the bottom of the earthquake machine. “ I need to destroy that machine, ” thought Roxy. She blasted up toward the machine. Boom! Roxy burst through the cave’s floor and smashed the machine to pieces.

“ She destroyed our earthquake machine! " cried a mole man. “ Get her! ” shouted another one. The mole men rushed toward Roxy. Roxy flew up into the air. The mole men ran straight into one another, swinging their pipes. Crash! “ Ouch! You hit me! ” cried one.

“ Sorry! I didn’t—oof! Who hit my head?” said another. “ Oops! ” said a third. “ I thought you were—ouch! ” As the mole men fought, Roxy glanced around the cave. She saw tires, pipes, and other items. She then saw some electrical wire. She grabbed the wire and quickly tied up the mole men.
