A train sped along the tracks outside Metro City. The train was carrying several animals from Metro City Zoo. " This will be an exciting zoo tour, ” said the train’s engineer. “ That’s right, ” said the conductor. “ Lots of people will get to see the special animals from the zoo. ”

“ People will really love Blue Baboon, ” said the engineer. “ He’s everybody’s favorite—Oh no! Another train is coming! ” Crash! Roxy and her friends were at Metro City Zoo.

They were standing in front of the baboon exhibit. Roxy saw a small hill and lots of trees. But there was no baboon. “ Blue Baboon left for the zoo tour today, ” said Mara. “ I miss him already! ” “ Me too, ” said Terrell. “ I hope he comes back soon. The zoo isn’t much fun without him. ”

The four friends walked through the bird exhibit. “ The zoo still has lots of cool animals, ” said Roxy. She pointed at a brightly colored parrot. “ I really like Parrot Pete. ” “ Hello, ” said Parrot Pete. Roxy giggled. “ Hello! ” “ Cool! ” said Jack. “ I see vultures! ”

Mara sighed. “ All these birds are great. But Blue Baboon is my favorite animal. ” “ Mine too, ” said Terrell. Jack shrugged. “ He’ll be back in a few months. ” Terrell’s eyes suddenly lit up. “ I have a great idea! ” he said. “ We can ask Rocket Girl to fly Blue Baboon home for visits! ”
