The Big Battle

Hank Tank rolled toward Roxy. Whiz- hoo! She fired her eye laser beams at one of his rubber treads. Boom! The tread exploded. Roxy jumped to her feet. Hank tried to roll. But the tread was broken, and he couldn’t move. Smoke poured out from under him.

“ Human mode! ” shouted Hank. Parts shifted and moved. Hank stood up again. He glared at Roxy. “ You’ll regret breaking my tank, Rocket Girl! ” Hank Tank charged. He slammed into Roxy. Bam! They knocked over a bus. " Ahh! " cried the bus driver.

“ Sorry! ” said Roxy. She quickly put the bus back on its wheels. Hank slammed into Roxy again. Bam! The bus fell over again. “ Ahh! ” cried the bus driver again. Roxy jumped to her feet and punched. Crack! Hank Tank flew backward. “ Oof! ” cried Hank. He crashed through a store window.

Roxy set the bus back up. Then she saw Hank charging toward her again. Roxy made a fist. As Hank slammed into her, she punched. Roxy and Hank both flew backward. Again Roxy slammed into the bus. " Ahh! " cried the bus driver.

“ Ugh! ” thought Roxy. “ How am I going to stop Hank Tank?” As Roxy tried to get up, Hank’s big foot came down. “ I’m going to squash you, Rocket Girl! ” Hank laughed. Roxy rolled out of the way. Stomp! Hank’s foot cracked the pavement.
