I have to stop those boulders! ” cried Roxy. The giant boulders rolled fast toward Metro City. Roxy fired her eye laser beams at the bottom of the mountain. Ka-boom! She blasted a huge hole in the ground. The boulders reached the bottom of the mountain.

Then they rolled right into the hole. “ Yes! ” cheered Roxy. “ Now where is that monster?” Roxy flew over the mountains. She finally spotted enormous footprints. She followed the footprints through a valley and around a tall mountain. Then Roxy stopped. She heard a deep rumbling sound.

“ That sounds like someone snoring! ” She flew over another mountain and saw a field of wildflowers. The monster lay in the middle of the field, sleeping next to a mansion. A man stood on the balcony. He blinked at Roxy. “ You’re Rocket Girl, right?”

Roxy nodded. “ Who are you?” “ Professor Newt, ” said the man. “ I study reptiles. Why are you here?” Roxy was confused. “ Do you know this monster?” “ She’s not a monster, ” said Professor Newt. “ She’s my pet reptile. Her name is Bessie. ”

“ Bessie?” Roxy repeated. Professor Newt nodded. “ My friend gave me a mysterious reptile egg for my birthday. When the egg hatched, out came Bessie. ” He laughed. “ I had no idea she would grow this big! ” Roxy frowned. “ Well, Professor Newt, Bessie almost destroyed Metro City! ”
