Carabas ran over to Puss. “ What are you doing? We don’t live in this castle! ”

“ Shh! ” Puss said. “ Just pretend that we do. ” Carabas frowned. “ Lying is wrong , Puss. ”

The king and Fiona walked over. “ This is a fine castle, Duke, ” the king said. “ Actually . . . , ” Carabas said.

“ Welcome home , Duke！ ” several voices called. Servants stood in the doorway. “ Come inside, ” one said. “ Lunch will be ready soon! ”

The king’s eyes lit up. “ What a nice surprise! I am rather hungry. ” Everyone went in.
