If I Had Wings

I’m lonely. I’m bored. And I’m really sad. I’m stuck in my room. And I’m getting mad.

My friends are playing. And I’m in my bed. I can’t play outside with this broken leg!

If I had wings, I would fly high in the sky. I would fly to the birds. I’d even say, “ Hi! ”

If I had fins, I would swim deep in the sea. I would look for treasure. It would be all for me.

If I had a horse, I would run through the mountains. I would stop for water. I’d drink from the fountains.

If I had a sailboat, I would sail on the water. I would see dolphins and whales. I’d even see otters.
