Growing Bell Peppers

I planted red bell pepper seeds today. First, I put the seeds in a pot. Next I covered them with soil. Then I watered them.

This morning I checked the pepper pot. I didn’t see anything. Are roots growing in the soil?

Today I saw a green sprout! A tiny stem is poking through the soil. Yay!

The stem gets taller each day. Leaves are growing. My pepper seedling looks strong.

This morning I planted the seedling in the backyard. The sunny backyard is good for the plant.

Today I looked at my pepper plant. I saw many small buds on it. Flowers will grow from those buds.
