The Dairy Farm

“ I have a treat for you, ” Mom said. “ We’re visiting a dairy farm this afternoon. ” “ Yay! ” Oliver shouted. “ That sounds fun! ” Emmy said.

Harry wasn’t interested in the farm. But he got into the car anyway.

The Carters arrived at the dairy farm. They saw the cows in the field. “ Let’s go see the calves, ” Emmy said.

The Carters found the calves in their pens. “ They look so cute! ” Emmy said. “ I wish I could take one home! ” “ This is boring, and I’m hot, ” Harry said.

Soon Oliver noticed the field was empty. “ Where did the cows go?” he asked. “ It must be milking time, ” Dad said. “ Let’s watch the cows being milked. ”

“ Ugh, ” Harry said. “ I don’t care about cows or milk. ” Oliver tried to cheer up his brother. “ Maybe these cows give chocolate milk! ”
