The Wedding

Oliver was the ring bearer at a wedding. His job was to carry the rings. The wedding was starting soon.

“This suit is too tight,” Oliver said. “I don’t like this bow tie.” “But you look so cute!” Mom said.

“Why must I carry this pillow?” Oliver asked. “That’s what ring bearers do,” Harry said. “They carry the wedding rings on a pillow.”

“It’s an important job,” Dad said. “I wish I wasn’t in this wedding,” Oliver said.

Emmy watched the photographer take pictures. The bridesmaids wore long dresses and carried pink flowers. “Their dresses are so pretty,” she said. “I wish I was in this wedding.”

Suddenly the photographer bumped into Oliver. Oliver dropped his pillow. The bride and groom’s rings rolled away.
