A Visit to the Vet

It was time for Rover's checkup. But Rover didn't want to go to the vet.

“ Come on, Rover! ” Mom said. Emmy pushed and Harry pulled. But the dog refused to go into the vet's office.

“ I know how you feel, ” Oliver said to Rover. “ I don't like to go to the doctor either. ”

Oliver looked at Mom. “ Maybe Rover needs a treat, ” he said.

Soon Rover was sitting in the waiting area. He paced and panted.

“ I know how you feel, ” Oliver said to the dog. “ Waiting for the doctor makes me nervous too. ”
