Backyard Star Party

Mom went to the library. She brought home books about stars and planets.

“ Let's have a backyard star party tonight! " Mom said. “ Yay！” The kids cheered.

“ Great idea！” Dad said. “ I 'll find our telescope. ” He went up to the attic to look for it.

“ I'll make star and moon cookies, ” Aunt Judy said. Harry helped Aunt Judy mix the cookie dough.

Emmy helped Oliver read the books. “ I like the moon. ” Oliver said. “ I hope it’s big and bright tonight. ”

“ My favorite planet is Saturn, ” Emmy said. “ I hope we see its rings with the telescope. ”
