Cowboy Harry

The Carters went horseback riding. “ This is fun, ” Emmy said. “ Yee-haw! ” said Harry. " I'm a cowboy! ”

Harry's horse was named Buddy. “ Go faster, Buddy! ” Harry said The horse blinked. He did not go faster.

“ These horses are for new riders, ” said the guide. “ They are slow and gentle. They are not supposed to gallop. ”

“ I'm a cowboy, ” Harry thought. “ And cowboys' horses gallop! ”

Harry tapped the horse with his heels. Buddy moved faster. “ That's better! ” Harry said. But Buddy slowed down again.

Oliver laughed. “ Buddy knows you're not a real cowboy! ”
