Music Lessons

Emmy started taking violin lessons. She practiced every day.

Harry groaned. “ You play the same song again and again! ” “ I have to learn this song, ” Emmy said. “ I have a recital in two weeks! ”

Emmy kept practicing. Sometimes the song sounded loud. Sometimes it sounded squeaky. Sometimes it just sounded awful!

When Emmy practiced, Oliver plugged his ears. Harry put a pillow over his head. Aunt Judy went for a walk.

Emmy practiced and practiced. The song started to sound better. “ I think I’m learning it! ” she said.

The recital finally came. Kids played many different instruments. A boy played the piano.
