The Airplane Trip

“ I can't wait to fly in an airplane! ” Harry said. “ Flying sounds scary, ” Oliver said. “ It will be fun! ” Dad said.

Lots of people got on the plane. “ We might be too heavy for the plane, ” Oliver said. “ We are not too heavy, ” Mom said.

The plane took off. The Carter Family was flying!

“ My ears hurt! ” Oliver said. Mom gave Oliver a piece of gum. Chewing the gum made his ears feel better.

Oliver looked out the window. “ We are very high up! ” he said. “ What if we fall?” Harry said, “ We will not fall. "
