Oliver's class had a pet rat. The kids took turns taking the rat home. It was Oliver's turn.

Oliver brought the cage home. He took the rat out.“Eek!” said Emmy.“That rat looks scary.”

“Ratty is nice,” said Oliver. Ratty sat on Oliver's shoulder.

“Rats are dirty，”said Mom. “Ratty is clean，”said Oliver.Ratty washed his face with his paw.

“Rats are ugly,” said Harry. “Ratty is cute,” said Oliver. Ratty wiggled his nose.
