The Purple Scarf

Emmy was learning to knit. She had two knitting needles. She had lots of purple yarn.

But Emmy didn't know what to make.

“ Brr, ” said Aunt Judy one morning. “ It's almost winter. ”

“ I know what to make! " thought Emmy. “ I'll make a warm scarf! ” Emmy started knitting a purple scarf.

The days got colder. Emmy kept knitting. “ I'll need this scarf soon, ” she thought.
