The Cake

Aunt Judy spent all day in the kitchen. She made a special cake.

The cake had raisins, carrots, and cherries. “ I hope everyone likes my cake, ” said Aunt Judy.

She gave a piece to Emmy. “ Oh, ” said Emmy. “ I don’t like raisins. ” Emmy picked out the raisins.

Aunt Judy cut a piece of cake for Dad. “ I never eat carrots, ” said Dad. He ate everything but the carrots.

Aunt Judy handed a piece to Harry. “ Yuck! ” said Harry. “ Cherries. ” He left all of the cherries on his plate.
