“ There’s going to be a carriage race! ” Tom said. “ Kings will come from other kingdoms. They will see whose royal carriage is fastest. It will be so exciting! ”

Cat licked a paw. “ It sounds like a royal mess, ” she said. “ One king will win. The others will lose. And kings do not like losing! ”

“ The royal wizards will put spells on the carriages, ” said Tom. “ The best spell will win the race. I need a good spell for the king’s carriage. ”

Tom thought and thought. He checked his spell books.

Finally Tom went to the royal stables. He lifted his wand. “ Horses, run fast! Carriage, do not be last! ”
