“ The king is really hungry, ” Cook said. She quickly cooked more food. Tom sprinkled more powder on it.

The king and his guests ate the food. “ More! ” they cried. “ More food! ”

“ I am almost out of food, ” Cook said. “ I am almost out of powder, ” Tom said. Dirk said, “ Bring more food! Or you will go to the Grim Dungeon! ”

Cook and Tom looked in every cupboard. They found stale bread and moldy cheese. Tom sprinkled powder on it. The guests ate it.

“ he guests must be full now, ” Cook said. “ I hope they don’t get sick, ” Tom said. Dirk ran into the kitchen. “ The king wants more food now! ” he said.
