Scat, Rats!

The queen scratched her arms. “ We cleaned the whole castle! ” she moaned. “ The fleas are still here. ” “ I’m itchy! ” the king cried.

A rat ran into the Throne Room. “ Eek! Now we have rats! ” Princess Mary cried. “ Do something, Wizard! ” the king yelled.

More rats ran in. Cat jumped out of Tom’s pocket. Tom waved his wand. “ Scat, rats! ” Tom cried.

The rats saw the cat. They ran out. “ Good job, Wizard! ” the king said.

“ Where did the rats come from?” Tom asked. “ Rats like dirty dungeons, ” Cat whispered. “ And fleas like rats! ”
