The Great Itch

The king scratched his belly. “ Something’s making me itch! ” he said. The queen looked up from her book. “ Take a bath, ” she said.

The queen scratched her arm. “ I’m itchy too, ” Prince Eric said. He scratched and then peeked down his shirt. “ Ack! I see bugs! ”

“ Bugs?” Princess Mary cried. She tried to scratch her back. “ Tom! ” the princess cried. “ Make the bugs go away! ”

Tom lifted his wand. He looked worried. “ What kind of bugs?” he asked. “ I can’t see them. ”

The queen looked at the princess. “ You have fleas! ” she cried.
