The Unicorn

Tom and Cat followed the footprints and hoofprints. The prints went deep into the Dark Forest.

“ It’s spooky here, ” Tom said. “ Where is the unicorn?” “ Shh, ” Cat said. “ I hear voices. ” Tom listened.

“ I’m having fun, ” Princess Mary said. “ Me too, ” another voice said. “ It’s nice to have a friend. ” “ That’s the unicorn! ” Cat whispered.

Tom and Cat hurried into a clearing. Princess Mary was talking to a white unicorn. “ What are you doing here, Tom?” Princess Mary asked. “ No one invited you! ” the unicorn said.

“ Everyone is worried about you, Princess, ” Tom said. “ You must come back to the castle. ”
