The Grand Banquet

“ What a wonderful banquet! ” said the queen. The king looked very proud. “ Wait till the guests see the new jester! ” he said.

Dirk pushed Tink into the room. Tink put a ball on his hat and bowed. The ball fell off. No one laughed.

The king frowned. “ Pull a rabbit from that hat! ” said the king. “ Or go to the Grim Dungeon! ” snapped Dirk.

Tink looked scared. “ Poor Tink, ” thought Tom. “ Umm, ” said Tink. “ I don’t know . . . ” He took off his hat.

Tom quickly waved his wand. Poof! A rabbit appeared. The guests cheered. “ Bravo! ” cried the king.
