Cat licked a paw. “ Let’s look for Ann, ” she said. “ Dirk is Ann’s father. She might know what to do. ”

“ Good idea, Cat, ” Tom said. He rushed into the castle. A servant was polishing a suit of armor. Tom leaned on another suit of armor.

“ I’m looking for Ann, ” he said. “ Watch out! ” the servant yelled. The armor crashed to the floor. “ Oops, ” Tom said. “ Sorry! ”

The servant did not know where Ann was. Tom saw another servant. She was on a ladder and holding candles.

“ Excuse me! ” Tom called. He bumped into the ladder. The servant fell off! “ Oops, ” said Tom. “ Sorry! ”
