The Angry Dragon!

Tom ran up to the palace roof. Roar! Swoosh! He could hear the dragon coming closer.

Tom stared up at the dragon. “ Whoa, ” he cried. The dragon was huge and green. Flames shot from its mouth.

A peddler was throwing pots at the dragon. A farmer dropped his milk cart and ran away. Sizzle! Flags and bushes burned.

The dragon roared loudly and came closer. It stopped and held its belly and roared again. “ Now! ” Dirk yelled to the knights and servants. “ Attack that dragon! ”

The knights threw their swords. The servants threw their boulders. Other men shot arrows.
