The frog was hopping around the lab. Tom tried some more magic spells. But nothing worked. “ What about a potion?” Cat asked.

“ Good idea, Cat, ” Tom said. “ I’ll try to turn that frog into a dog. ” Tom mixed some potions. But none of them worked either。

The next morning there was still no dog. Tom sighed. “ I better think of something fast. The birthday party starts soon. ”

Tom watched the frog hop around the lab. It hopped near a stack of books. “ Hey! ” Tom said. “ Those are old spell books. ”

Tom flipped through the spell books. “ Here’s a dog spell! ” he said. “ The queen wants a special dog, ” Cat reminded him. Tom lifted his wand. Poof!
