At the Palace

Tom and Cat moved into the palace. Tom was the royal wizard now. But there was not much to do.

“ Let’s go to the Royal Kitchen, ” Cat said. Cook gave Tom and Cat snacks. Cat chased some mice. But soon Tom and Cat were bored.

“ Let’s go to the Royal Lab, ” Tom said. Tom mixed some potions. “ He practiced some magic spells. “ Bring Cat a fish! ” Poof!

“ That’s a fishing rod! ” Tom moaned. “ What am I going to do, Cat?My spells never work. One day the king and queen will need my magic. ”

Cat licked her paws. “ You have a kind heart, Tom, ” she said.
