Dogs!

“ I can find the way home, ” Tom said. He sniffed the ground. “ Follow me. ”

Moppet and Mittens followed Tom. They went back through town.

“ Look! ” Moppet said. She stopped at a shop window. “ I see cakes! ” “ Mmm! ” Tom said. “ I see cookies. ”

The kittens looked in another shop window. They saw some vegetables. They smelled fish.

“ I'm hungry, ” Tom said. “ Me too, ” Moppet said. “ We have to go home, ” Mittens said.

Then the shop door flew open. Tom dashed inside. His sisters ran after him.
