A Big Fish

“ Fish! ” Jeremy cried. “ Finally! ” Tom said. He was happy. Soon they could look for the flowers!

Bump! Bump! Tom looked at the water. Small fish swam all around the boat. “ They are minnows, ” Jeremy said.

Tom did not have a fishing rod. But he had a paw. He swatted at the water.

“ No, Tom! ” Jeremy said. “ You will scare away all the fish. ” Tom frowned.

Suddenly something pulled on Jeremy's rod. “ Help! ” Jeremy cried.

Jeremy pulled hard on the rod. Tom pulled too.
