In the Boat

Jeremy paddled the boat across the pond. Rain poured down. “ Oh no, ” Tom said. “ I'm getting wet! ”

Jeremy put on a raincoat. But Tom didn't have a raincoat. Then Tom spotted a pail.

He put it on his head. Tom smiled. “ Now I will stay dry! ” Suddenly Tom felt something slimy.

A worm slid down Tom's face. Another one crawled along his arm. Worms climbed into his pocket.

Tom laughed. “ Worms are funny! ” Jeremy stopped paddling and frowned. “ Tom! Those worms are for fishing! ”

Tom gave Jeremy some worms. Jeremy put a worm on his hook. Jeremy and Tom waited for a while.
