Chores

A chilly wind blew. “ Brr! ” Bird said. She saw a hole in her nest.

“ I must fix that hole, ” Bird said. The wind shook a branch. The branch hit Bird. “ I must trim that branch, ” Bird said

Leaves blew into Bird's nest. “ What a mess! ” Bird said. “ I must clean up! ” Bird sighed. “ I have lots of chores! ”

“ Bird! ” Kip yelled suddenly. “ Let's get a snack! ” “ Okay! ” Bird said. She forgot about her chores.

Bird and Kip went to the pizza place. They dug in the trash.
