“ Dinner is ready, Bird, ” Kip said. “ But where is Pop?”

Bird and Kip looked for Pop. “ Hi, Kip, ” Squirrel said. “ I met Pop. He's fun! ”

Kip scratched his head. “ How did Pop meet Squirrel?” he thought. “ Squirrel's tree had an X. “

Mr. and Mrs. Crow met Pop too. “ Caw, caw! Pop is nice! ” Mrs. Crow said. Kip was confused.

“ Kip, look! ” Bird pointed at some mud. “ Chipmunk tracks! ” “ Oh no! ” Kip said. “ Pop got muddy! ”
